Light in the Mesnaelva - Lillehammer lets a whole river illuminate

Possible effect at the Mesnaelva in Lillehammer - photo: Gudbrandsdalen Dagningen (openPR) - at nine places along the city river “Mesnaelva” flowing by the olympia city Lillehammer plans to create the municipality a new attraction for tourists. Light on the water, light under the water and Spots on old Steinmauern as well as under bridges along the river. A completely new atmosphere at the already nearly forgotten river will be created, about which tourists on abendlichen walks can enjoy, so Lars Rudi of the local technical administration of the city. By many places in the town centre is to be recognized nowadays by the Mesnaelva at the night nothing at all. Rudi oriented at a meeting over the possibilities of the coloured organization. By color filters on the emitters one can in different colors light up at any time let the river whether red, blue or green - depending upon cause one selects certain colors, thus Rudi. The municipality administration granted already 300,000 crowns for the project. The entire project might not cost however any more than 700,000 crowns. On the Stiztung on 28 February it is to be decided then entgültig whether the project can be accomplished. If everything runs after plan in Lillehammer, then the project could be already carried out in the summer 2007 by the company Iguzzini Illuminazione Norway (www.iguzzini.no).
