5. Further training nature and Wildnispädagogik starts soon

Team exercise for learning the “Tracking” (English trace vintages) (openPR) - nature and Wildnisschule Teutoburger forest starts to 29. March 2007 their certified further training „nature and Wildnispädagogik “. Working persons in social and „become green themselves “occupations qualify thereby for the professional switching of nature knowledge.

The further training is accomplished in co-operation with the people's highschool Cologne. It addresses itself to paedagogues, educators and employees in forest kindergartens, occupations of welfare and social mechanisms, to representatives so mentioned „greener occupations “, which are active in nature and environmental formation, as well as at nature lovers, who want to deepen their nature knowledge. Approximately 230 lessons distribute themselves on 6 instruction blocks in 9 months, which take place predominantly at all four seasons and on the weekends.

The training course led of diploma haven teacher Dr. Gero Wever, owner of nature and Wildnisschule Teutoburger forest in resounds (Westphalia). To the lecturer team belong beyond that practice-experienced nature and Wildnislehrer, educator and social paedagogue.

Nature knowledge of old peoples
Instruction contents can be divided in four range, which are closely interlocked with one another: Knowledge and talents of the nature peoples, an extended and deeper sensory perception, acting out of the community, Wildnispädagogik and its teaching methods. First talents nature-relating to crafts and basic knowledge are obtained, e.g. Basic knowledge over the four elements of the Survival (protection, fire, water and food), trace vintages and botany, as well as different regulation methods and methods of the nature observation.

Learn with sharpened senses
The training of the perception ability is located in the center of the applied teaching method. The participants learn, how one itself slowly and consciously in nature moved and its surrounding field can notice holistic. Learning situations are created, which presuppose confidence into own doing and the conscious employment of all senses. The participants argue intensively with its strengths and weaknesses and with its personal relationship with nature and wilderness. Exercises and projects are often accomplished in teams and the results of working afterwards in the plenum are discussed. Beginning one and experienced paedagogues equally receive valuable suggestions for the advancement of its own instruction ILS.

Potenzial recognize and use
The participants learn to recognize, where the Potenzial of each pupil is and can like one on the needs a target group adjust itself, for which they want to arrange Wildniswissen. Besides to the lehr and Lernmethode „of the Coyote Teaching in such a way specified “one introduces, which comes from the native peoples of North America. It is based on the conception that humans learn most effectively whenever they may follow to their inclinations and interests. Methods are presented, how one knows the knowledge thirst individual durably stimuli, so that the obtained knowledge remains also actually clinging and in lasting acting effect shows.

The costs amount to inclusive materials, overnight accomodation and food supply 1,815 euro, a payment in three rates are possible. Instruction takes place to a large extent on weekends. Start is to 29. March, the period for registration ends to at the end of of February. Nature and Wildnisschule Teutoburger forest
Nature and Wildnisschule 1999 were created by Gero Wever. Since 1996 it is in the training with Tom Brown junior, on whose teaching methods the work of the school is based considerably: The American is director/conductor of the largest Wildnisschule of the world and founders of the ecological Survivalbewegung.
