GIH Federal Administration since 20.10.2006 (openPR) - Stuttgart, 25 October 2006. Fred Weigl is the new 1. Chairman of the GIH Federal association building energy consultant of engineers craftsman registered association (www.gih-bv.de). On the delegate conference on 20 October in Stuttgart the representatives and representative of 16 regional federations with large majority selected it into this office. Weigl was before deputy Federal leaders. Since the resignation from Michael Harjes in the June of this yearly it led the federation kommissarisch. The 44-jährige independent engineer from bath Tölz is for three years member in the regional association Bavaria energy registered association.

To 2. Chairmen selected the delegated Elke Colberg from the regional association Bremen. Building engineer affirmed that she wanted to use herself in particular for the north Germans of regional organizations as well as for the women in the Federal association. Further Peter Sprenger from Munich in its office was confirmed as an executive committee for public work.

The delegate conference in the new federal office in the Colorado Tower in Stuttgart Vaihingen took place for the first time. Participated 42 delegated from 16 regional federations.

The executive committee explained that it will continue to itself exert with reproduction for the quality assurance in the building energy counselling. An instrument is the again created quality seal, with which the GIH wants to convert the seal order created by it into the practice. „A goal is it, a neutral, independent, qualified, to guarantee professional and holistic energy counselling in the sense integrals of a building design “, stressed Fred Weigl. Certifying is advanced at present by the federations Bavaria, Baden-Wuerttemberg, under and Upper Franconia, Hessen, Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland. These united to „the seal group south “. The certification commission is settled with the regional association Baden-Wuerttemberg. In addition the GIH with the German energy agency (dena) co-operates closely with the development of a quality assurance system for energy document of identification creators.

The GIH Federal association has approx. 1,900 members in completely Germany over 16 attached federations at present. The member-strongest regional association is Baden-Wuerttemberg, it follows Bavaria, Unter- and Upper Franconia as well as Brandenburg. Peter Sprenger appealed to the delegated ones: „We are not only energy consultants. We fulfill a national task. Energy save, resources preserve, CO2-Emmissionen lower: On it we all must work. “

The Federal association of the building energy consultants of engineers craftsman (GIH) registered association was created 2001. As roof federation the GIH represents the interests from at present approx. 1,900 members from 16 attached federations.
