Carsten Petersdorff of new managing directors of Ecofys Germany

(openPR) - Cologne, 23.10.2006 - Carsten Petersdorff was appointed as the managing director of the Ecofys Germany GmbH. In its new position the 36-Jährige will answer for the strategic and operational business of Ecofys Germany within the ranges of the renewable energies, energy efficiency and climatic protection. „Energy in buildings” it keeps the line of the range further. Carsten Petersdorff follows franc Wouters, managing director of Econcern Germany. Wouters - in its new position as Director OF Business development - will dedicate itself now fully to the international business development of Econcern.

Favorable conditions for renewable energies
Förderpolitiken both on more European and on national level create best market conditions for renewable energies and energy efficiency in Germany. Petersdorff sees good business development possibilities accordingly also for the coming years: „The market conditions will constantly improve. The development of the energy prices and the aggravation of the climatic preventive measures in the context of the post office Kyoto discussion can contribute to it substantially. Technical background
Petersdorff began its career 1998 with Ecofys in Cologne. Its task was it to develop the division „energy in buildings “.
