Norovirus: Handwash instead of panic

Do not handwash forgotten (photocase.de) (openPR) - everywhere we read in these days of the Norovirus. The stomach intestine virus spread first on Atlantic cruise ships, now it also at Germany arrived. “We expect citizens of Berlin of the institute for Robert cook million Norovirus patients in the coming weeks”, say professor Reinhard Kurth, president

Who was infected with the virus, suffers from strong Brechdurchfällen: The patient is highly infective and must be isolated. Since Noroviren can survive for a long time outside of the body and are very resistant, everything must which with the patient into contact comes, is disinfected.

The transmission is made e.g. by the hand vibrating, other body contact or food. The symptoms fade away usually after 48 to 72 hours independently. The illness does not run usually also deadly. It can be dangerous however for chronically patient, children and older humans, since it is connected with a strong ullage, which must become balanced by much drinking and mineralstoffhaltige food.

Instead of purging into panic, one should fundamental hygiene regulations (hands to wash!) consider to avoid around an infection. More information under www.norovirus.eu.ki were summarized. A forum gives the possibility for exchange of experience.
