(openPR) - study to the man health of service trade union ver.di, donation man health and University of Ulm
Men are considered as incorrigible Gesundheitsmuffel. Therefore man must recognize often enough that the strong sex is the weak rather nevertheless: It dies six years in former times as you, becomes more frequently chronically ill and goes also on the job pretty often to its physical and psychological borders.
The united service trade union (ver.di) starts therefore on 7 February 2007 together with the donation man health and the University of Ulm a study, which is to seize the state of health and the stresses of male employees in detail.
Altogether 1,500 union members from the ranges banks/insurance, retail trade/Discounter as well as town cleaning/disposal are to be asked. The questionnaire was developed at the University of Ulm, the data are evaluated by the there researcher team around the medicine sociologist professor Richard Peter.
First results are presented to at the end of of April to be present and on a congress of ver.di in Berlin. Subsequently, the results are to flow into the work of the trade union and the work councils directly locally.
