Family doctor federation and ICW create common enterprise:

(openPR) - on-line family doctor net and software �Hausarzt+ �for better communication

Berlin/Cologne/barrier village, 28 February 2007 - for an innovative on-line family doctor net have the house-medical contract community EEC (H�VG) and the eHealth specialist InterComponentWare AG (ICW) a close co-operation agrees: The again created common subsidiary company H�VG software GmbH will equip the family doctors in Germany with the new communication software �Hausarzt+ �and will develop and will operate on-line family doctor net. Managing directors in Cologne of the residents society are Dr. Jochen rose (member of the board of the H�VG) and Professor Dr. Ludwig judge (ICW).

The new on-line family doctor net will optimize the expirations and the economy from writing models, family doctor contracts and contracts to the integrated supply: Since the new net is not only open to family doctors, but in principle by all participants of the health service for the change of medical information to be used, it knows the execution of such contracts will facilitate. LifeSensor become also over the electronic health document
the patients into new medical data flow also included.

With the communication software (Hausarzt+), developed particularly by ICW, participants of on-line family doctor net convey beside account information and participation documentations also medical data to completely simply on-line. In this way the current and future iv-contracts and new contracts cannot only be accomplished and accounted for for the family doctor-centered supply of the family doctor federation electronically. Also the IT-supported execution of Disease management programs (eDMP) is in the future possible. Despite these extensive functions physicians do not need additional PCs for Hausarzt+: The software runs on already in practice existing computers. Because Hausarzt+ can exchange data with almost all usual market practice management systems, the existing practice software does not have to be exchanged for the use of on-line family doctor net. The transmission of the data is compatible with the defaults gematik.

Also physicians, who are on-line not yet, can use communication and documentation software Hausarzt+. They received once per quarter an update and can convey their data e.g. by account prescription. The software will be - after its introduction on the market starting from July 2007 - to each on-linable user for approx. 15 euro per month at the disposal (approx. 24 euro on use of the quarter update by CD-ROM).
Eberhard flour, managing director of the German family doctor federation and executive committee speaker of the H�VG is convinced: �The new on-line family doctor net and the communication software Hausarzt+ will contribute to the fact that family doctors can notice their traditional tutoring in the health service transparency and bureaucracy-poor. The communication software Hausarzt+ makes the handling of family doctor contracts practice suited. �Dr. Frank Warda, member of the board of the ICW, supplements: �The German family doctor federation recognized the high meaning of genuine integrated supply for a long time - is it shown among other things at the numerous family doctor contracts of the federation. With on-line family doctor net and the new communication software Hausarzt+ we will together facilitate and to it will contribute the practice of the integrated supply to improve the results further. �

Functionalities of the communication software Hausarzt+ are in detail:
simplifying administrative processes such as physician and patient registration into existing and new family doctor contracts

Their solutions for the cross-linking of the different participants in the health service improve lastingly process orientated communication and data integrity - and thus the quality of the medical supply. ICW develops and drives among other things soft out and hardware components for the telematics infrastructure of the electronic health map, the personal electronic health document LifeSensor as well as cross-linking solutions for hospitals and established physicians. As part of the bIT4health-Konsortiums ICW furnished important advisory activities for the introduction of the electronic health map to Germany, is involved and recently won a pilot project for the Bulgarian health map in the Austrian eCard project.

Over the house-medical contract community EEC
The German family doctor federation and its to the conclusion and for the completion of contracts with cost objectives, in particular from family doctor-based and integrated supplying contracts, in the year 2004 the H�VG house-medical contract community EEC created regional organizations. Since then the H�VG already closed on regional level with different primary cashes contracts for family doctor-centered integrated supply. Country widely valid integration contracts exist with the BARMER and the German BKK (diabetes T�V). Further contracts on basis � of the 73b (new) SGB V will come in foreseeable time.
The family doctor can occur voluntarily of the H�VG closed contracts. The entry to the present Treaties is open both to members of the family doctor federation as well as non-members, therefore all family doctors.
Up-to-date the H�VG registers approximately 55,000 medical contract participants and scarcely 3.7 millions participating Versicherte in from their final and cared for contracts.
