Again from the Arthrose research: Glucose amine at least as effectively as Paracetamol and without side effects

(openPR) - the naturally occurring substances glucose amine and Chondroitinsulfat are successfully inserted to the supporting therapy with joint complaints like e.g. knee joint Arthrose (Osteoarthritis). A multiplicity of studies shows that the combination of glucose amine and Chondroitinsulfat can improve the joint pain and promote the mobility with Arthrose. The so far not yet sufficiently answered question was however whether these nature substances can hand the water to the frequently used pain means freely for sale. This question now answers a large Spanish study, which was published in the technical periodical „Arthritis & Rheumatism “. Were compared with altogether 318 patients with knee joint Arthrose the effectiveness of 1500mg Glusoseamin, 3g Paracetamol and an illusory preparation (Plazebo). After 6 months the Arthrose symptoms were lowered statically significantly clearly compared with Plazebo by glucose amine. With Paracetamol this goal was not achieved, although the daily dose corresponded to 6 tablets. Also in this study again shown that nature substances were not only effective can, but also classical medicaments at least equal it could themselves be, if the dose is correct. As clinically effective daily doses of 1500mg proved glucose amine and 800mg Chondroitinsulfat. However this daily dose is reached only by very few products present at the market. The product ArtVitum® is one of it. Still the question arises, how Glusoseamin and Chondroitinsulfat are compatible now into the clinically effective proportioning gene. The answer to it gives one in February 2007 in the technical periodical to “Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology” published work. The authors analyzed all safety-relevant information to glucose amine and Chondroitinsulfat with the result that these substances are completely free in the clinically effective dosages from side effects. The authors conclude that the combination of glucose amine and Chondroitinsulfat is in clinically effective dose for the application of long-terms suitably and safe.
The company Navitum Pharma communicates to the fact that a combination of glucose amine and Chondroitinsulfat is available in the clinically effective dosage in Germany under the name Artvitum® in pharmacies. Artvitum® corresponds to the criteria of the evidence was based prevention and offered for the supplementing treatment of degenerative joint illnesses such as knee joint Arthrose.
