(openPR) - Cologne, 17.01.2007 - the marketing club Cologne/Bonn had members on past Monday its and interested guests invited to a special New Year receipt into the Steigenberger Grandhotel Peter mountain. Guest speaker was Dr. Frank Schirrmacher, co-editor of the FAZ and successful book author, who spoke to a topic, which will in the future lastingly change also marketing: The Methusalem Komplott - the demographic change revolutionizes the consumer behaviour of the next decades.
For the present marketing specialists the topic was not only fire current - but also pointing the way. An aging society will in every respect require a reorientation - also in communication. Schirrmacher occupied this with descriptive examples from other countries - in those it e.g. already traffic signs gives, which forbid too slow driving. Or supermarkets, whose shop fitting concept is aligned by older humans to the Sehverhalten.
Petra Hermann, when member of the board is responsible for the program organization marketing club Cologne/Bonn, surely that the New Year receipt of this year was and a meeting interesting extremely succeeded for all present ones: „Beside a hochkarätigen guest speaker, its topic with the following Gala Buffet still for plentifully discussion material ensured and a marvelous place of event, could the 230 participants also by a very good music program be inspired “. The artists of the evening came from the Rheini school of music Cologne. Beside Maurice Peter, who arose with its father in the guitar duo, five young Harfinistinnen were to be heard.

Over the marketing club Cologne/Bonn
The marketing club Cologne/Bonn registered association was created in the year 1955 in Cologne. Also over 350 members the marketing club ranks today among the largest and most established clubs of its kind in Germany and is organized in the German marketing federation (DMV).
The marketing club its task pursues Cologne/Bonn as a professional association, by promoting the spreading marketing to economics and public. It has the goal, the opinion, of promoting and of supporting knowledge and idea exchange to all topic areas marketing. The club members obtain current realizations and knowledge and make thereby a contribution to the Professionalisierung of the marketing activity.
A high-quality program with lectures, panel discussions, seminars, Workshops and „marketing locally “- both the possibility offers meetings to members and interested guests of informing about current topics from theory and practice of modern marketing.
