Participants of this discussion, which gives a good and generally understandable introduction to the topic on high, scientific level, were:

- Professor Dr. Ulrich Oevermann of the University of Frankfurt/Main, one the prominent sociologist of Germany, who wrote a set from very elementarily setting contributions to the basic income discussion,

- Professor Dr. Philippe Van Parijs of the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium (Chaire Hoover d'éthique économique et sociale), at the same time Visiting professor at the department OF Philosophy to the Harvard University, one of the most important representatives of the international basic income discussion,

- Professor Götz W. Werner, professor for Entrepreneurship at the University of Karlsruhe, entrepreneur, founder and chairman of the management the DM-drugstore-market-chained

All podium participants are basic income proponents, since despite many promptly sent away invitations to just as considerable representatives of an opposite standpoint none could be won such participant for the podium. In the discussion therefore the strengths of the basic income suggestion come to the language, which one can quite regard as preference/advantage of the discussion, the basic income suggestion into evening-filling television discussions with Sandra Maischberger or with Maybrit Illner more etweder only with hot fingers were touched nevertheless according to in detail or proper tabuisiert (despite respective presence of Götz W. Werner), apart from the fact that in such discussions anyway only remaining superficial exchange is possible.

Since the suggestion of an unconditional basic income is discussed in the meantime in all parties (now as the latter also in the SPD), since the Thuringian CDU Prime Minister Dieter existing building among other things suggests an unconditional basic income (solidary citizen money) following ideas of the director Hamburg institutes for world economy and economists of the Professor Dr. Thomas Straubhaar, which is regarded in one of the Konrad Adenauer donation paid expert appraisal as eligible for financing, since the GREENS on its last Party Congress a whole morning dedicated themselves to pros and cons basic income and at present generally speaking country might be increasing despite apparent present success in the fight of the mass unemployment local citizens' initiatives pro basic income to be formed, the local Videoaufzeichnung of a substantial discussion to the topic by general interest. It represents a contribution from the universities to the public discussion over a promising reform idea, to a certain extent past at institutes for medium, which contribute in a frightening extent to the deformation of public (keyword: Discussion rounds of Sabine Christiansen), as to not-last handling in the population with large interest and most controversially the basic income leads discussed topic before eyes.
