Only small change readiness with German technical and high-level personnel - forsa Repräsentativbefragung on behalf of job commodity

www.jobware.de - career portal for qualified Fach-und of high-level personnel (openPR) - Paderborn, 23 January 2007 - the shortage of personnel with technical and high-level personnel accepts meanwhile threatening extents in many vocational fields. Ever more enterprises search handstruggling for qualified coworkers with relevant professional experience. The chances to find suitable personnel stand thereby rather badly, because for about three quarters of the German technical and high-level personnel a change comes neither short nor medium-term into consideration. This is the result of a representative questioning, which gave the career portal to job commodity (www.jobware.de) at forsa the society for social research and statistic analyses ltd. in order.

73 per cent of the technical and high-level personnel at present active in enterprises want therefore in the long term to remain at their current employer. Further 19 per cent that representatively (without public service) managers and specialists asked aim at a change latently - ren into the next Jah -, but without it with such a step all too hasty having. In the result the short term change readiness of the German technical and high-level personnel reduces to one rather marginal note order of magnitude of 7 per cent: facts, which place the recruiting efforts of many personnel departments inevitably before substantial problems. It is remarkable that itself the rather small change readiness thereby without all too large differences on all group of men and women, younger ones and older ones, university graduates and Nichtakademiker - and regions extended (see table 1: www.jobware.de/pz/docs/forsa_jobware_wechselbereitschaft_tab_1.pdf).

A crucial role for the intention of changing the employer at short notice - in the next months - plays in contrast to this the satisfaction with the current vocational activity, such a further result of the representative questioning: 70 per cent of the German technical and high-level personnel, which are very dissatisfied with their present activity „”, plan a short term change of the employer, further 19 per cent aim at medium-term a change and only 12 per cent want - despite large discontent - at their current employer to remain. Also different frustrations - with the content (28 per cent), the boss (30 per cent) and the opportunities for advancement (18 per cent) - contribute their part to the fact that the short term change readiness grows precipitously (see table 2: www.jobware.de/pz/docs/forsa_jobware_wechselbereitschaft_tab_2.pdf).

„Enterprises, which look for qualified technical and high-level personnel, draw primarily from a source fed by discontent with other employers, whose productivity altogether besides rather to wish leaves remaining. Therefore it is important to address also those technical and high-level personnel which are only latent on job search and only by the correct offer from the reserve can Christian Flesch the results be lured”, commentates job commodity marketing boss. Not least due to its one will continue to strengthen the operational readiness level of job commodity on relevant technical and industry platforms. There one reaches the group of the latently change-willing technical and high-level personnel in a familiar, technically coined/shaped surrounding field and can her attentive on interesting vocational options make.
