21 years after Tschernobyl - as the dangerous radiation dose can be decreased?

from left: Jürgen Ebert (SODI), Professor Dr. Vasilij Nesterenko (BELRAD), Dr. Helmut Domke (donation westeastern meetings) (openPR) - placed themselves to this question on 8 February 2007 the participants from the donation westeastern meetings together with the solidarity federation international - SODI in the house of the Federal association of German donations in Berlin of accomplished discussion evening with professor Wassilij Nesterenko, director of the independent institute for jet security BELRAD in Minsk. The health long-term sequences of the Tschernobylkatastrophe from 26 April 1986 are very differently judged by scientists. The data concerning the number of medical cases differ very strongly, since on the one hand many disease pictures are to due not directly only to the radiation dose, on the other hand to also radiation-conditioned diseases a high latency to exhibit can. Indisputablely is however that with the reactor accident in Tschernobyl high quantities of radionuclides were set free, the regions concerned by which today and still for many decades for the population in in Belarus and the Ukraine mainly the radioactive isotope Cäsium-137 developing during the Urankernspaltung an health-endangering radiation dose responsible is. These dangers for the health of children are particularly serious. The admission of the radioactive isotopes into the human body takes place in the regions concerned with the breathing air as well as by food and drinking water.

Extensive results of measurement radiation dose, which the atomic energy expert Professor Dr. Vasilij Nesterenko, formerly directors/conductors of the institute for nuclear energetics at the Byelorussian academy of the sciences, speaks a clear language for which population in certain regions and individual settlements presents. In addition, it points out that certain protective effects can be obtained against the admission of radioactivity with simplest means, for example by centrifugation of milk or by the treatment of meat with appropriate salt solutions. Professor Nesterenko appreciated the commitment of initiatives and organizations, which make recovery stays in Germany for children possible from the regions concerned. In addition, it referred to the substantially more economical possibility of providing for children within Belarus in radioactively not loaded regions of recoveries and recuperative vacations. Professor Nesterenko holds the opinion that recuperative vacations are substantially more efficient in connection with treatments by Pektine, which would accelerate the withdrawal of radioactive substances from the human body. In addition of its Institut the means Vitapekt was developed for food addition, a preparation from apple pellet, enriched with Vitaminen. Critics of this method point out that the positive effectiveness described by professor Nesterenko is at least disputed proven by Pektin so far scientifically soundly not yet and thus the medical efficiency of the administration of the preparation in the professional world.

Remained completely indisputable however for more than 60 participants of the evening after the discussion with professor Nesterenko: The topic Tschernobyl is fire current also two decades after the reactor disaster. The consequences for humans and environment are still with difficulty visible. There is necessary large efforts around the protection and the state of health of humans to improve in particular the children in the radioactively contaminated areas. The donation westeastern meetings will use itself also further for the promotion from projects to this topic.
