Wernigerode AG in paging

Wernigerode. The three districts half, Quedlinburg and Wernigerode are at present in paging. To 01.07.2007 will fuse the three neighbouring circles to the district resin.

The circle fusion opens numerous new chances for our region by the variety of efficient enterprises. Before this background in the last months to the purpose of the information transfer numerous discussions with representatives from economics, politics and administration of the neighboring country circles were led half and Quedlinburg. During these discussions the interest in the Wernigerode AG and their work could be aroused. Also in the next weeks and months the AG will go to Quedlinburg toward enterprises and public mechanisms of the districts half and and to them the offer will submit in numerous projects to cooperate.

The supervisory board of the AG decided at its meeting to 12.12.2006 to carry by a change of name (of Wernigerode AG initiative growth region in resin AG initiative growth region) for the union of the three districts half, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg calculation. In addition with the creation „approved capital “is to interested enterprises and institutions from two the possibility to be granted of becoming likewise shareholder of the AG. The suggestions of executive committee and supervisory board require however still the agreement of the general meeting. That concerns also the extension of the supervisory board from at present 6 to 9 supervisory board members, with which an appropriate commitment is to be made possible by entrepreneurs from the districts half and Quedlinburg in the supervisory board.
