Trend Unternehmensfinanzierung 2006: Alternative financing forms add and to fill credit gap

(openPR) - although the banks assigned scarcely two per cent more in the past year again at credits to enterprises and independent ones than in 2005 remain the business with the loans with difficulty. The reasons for it are various: Basel II as well as putrid credits of the past play thereby likewise a role like the focusing of numerous banks on the renditeträchtigere Investmentbanking.

Despite small temporary increases with the volume of loans the long-term trend shows constantly downward: However between 2001 and 2005 the volume of loans sank to enterprises and independent ones of 304 to 230 billion euro.

Turned around the trend runs with alternative financing instruments: Participation and risk capital as well as Mezzanine documentations reached a volume of approximately in each case 4 billion euro in the past year.

The largest winners of the declining credit practice of the banks are however leasing and Factoring: The leasing market reached a volume of approximately 51 billion in the past year euro, goes one from the last available half yearly result the demand sales presumably even approximately 65 billion euro will amount to.

All ranges mentioned - participation capital, Mezzanine, leasing and Factoring - put in the past years clearly to partly 30 per cent and more per year. Alternative instruments win thereby during the Unternehmensfinanzierung in Germany ever more weights and fill at the same time the gap, which the declining credits leave with the enterprises.

“The long-term trend goes completely clearly away from the credit to alternative instruments of the Unternehmensfinanzierung”, says federation president Dr. Ralph westexpects. “Information and clearing-up about the advantages of alternative financing instruments straight in the middle class are however further urgently necessary.”
